New Maruti Dzire Launch Date 11th Nov – Sunroof Confirmed, ADAS Possible

The Maruti Dzire, India’s best-selling sedan, is set to debut in a new-generation avatar on November 11th. Known for its reliability and value, the Dzire has long dominated the entry-level sedan market against competitors like the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor. With a refreshed design and upgraded features, the Dzire looks to extend its lead even further.


Distinctive Styling: The Dzire Takes a New Direction


Historically, the Dzire and Swift models have shared similar styling, but the 2024 Dzire aims to create a unique identity. The new model breaks away with a sharper design featuring a reimagined front fascia, sleek headlamps, and a horizontally slatted grille that adds a premium feel. Compared to its curvier predecessor, the 2024 Dzire is sportier and more angular, with crisp body panels and a refined overall look. 


Other notable exterior updates include newly designed alloy wheels, body-colored door handles, chrome window garnishing, and blacked-out B-pillars. The rear section also sees a complete overhaul, with a glossy black strip connecting the updated tail lamps and a redesigned bumper adding to the sedan’s sporty appearance.


Sunroof Confirmed, ADAS a Possibility


Setting itself apart in the entry-level sedan segment, the new Dzire will come with a single-pane sunroof—a first for this category. This addition should appeal to families, enhancing the car’s appeal for everyday city driving and weekend trips alike. Some reports also hint that Maruti might include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in the top variants, potentially bringing adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and other modern safety features. If this rumor proves accurate, it could mark a significant step up in safety and tech for the Dzire and the segment as a whole.


Borrowed Features from the Swift with New Perks


While the Dzire adopts some of the tech from the Swift’s latest model, it introduces several additional features that make it stand out. The exterior lighting setup includes LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED combination tail lamps. Inside, it boasts a 9-inch touchscreen display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an analog instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch multi-information display (MID). 


The new Dzire will also offer:

- Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration

- Steering-mounted audio and calling controls

- Wireless charging for added convenience

- Electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs 

- Rear AC vents for enhanced rear passenger comfort


These features cater well to modern demands, positioning the Dzire as a well-equipped family sedan with impressive functionality.


Comprehensive Safety Package


Safety has also been elevated in the new Dzire. Maruti is expected to include six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, reverse parking sensors, and a rear parking camera. These enhancements reinforce the Dzire's family-friendly appeal and Maruti’s commitment to providing value-driven yet safe vehicles.


Powertrain and Launch


Under the hood, the new Dzire will retain the same powertrain options as the 4th-gen Swift, continuing with Maruti's tried-and-true approach to efficiency and reliability. With the November 11th launch date set, prices and variant details will be officially announced, and deliveries are expected to start mid-November.
